This year our Child Care team is offering two programs: Little Kodiak’s Summer Program, and Little Gator’s Outdoor Adventure. See below for more information.<\/strong><\/p>\nLittle Kodiak’s\u00a0Summer\u00a0Program:<\/strong>
\nDates: July 4 – August 31, 2023.
\nHours: 7 am to 6 pm, M-F (closed holidays\u00a0and September 1, 2023).
\nAges: Kindergarten – Grade 6.
\n– Students must have completed Kindergarten to\u00a0register.-
\nLicensed Out of School Care.
\nPick up and drop off at Duncan Cran Elementary School BASC Portable.
\nCost: $250\/week – eligible for CCFRI (Kindergarten students) and ACCB.<\/p>\n***Please note – registration is on a weekly basis as needed. We are not offering part time spaces this summer. If you have any questions, please call the coordinator directly 250-264-7186.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n
Program Description: This program follows our regular programming from last year – students are broken into groups based around ages for activities that are planned with that age\u00a0group in mind. Students will have a team lead, and go on weekly field trips into the community. This program has an open ended pick up and drop off time, that allows parents the flexibility in their day. Program planning follows weekly themes and has activities and projects that align with those themes.<\/p>\n\n
Little Gator’s Outdoor Adventure<\/strong><\/p>\nDates: July 10 – August 25, 2023.
\nHours: 8 am to 4:30 pm, M-F (closed holidays).
\nLicensed Out of School Care.
\nAges: Grade 1 – 6.
\nStudents must have completed grade 1 to\u00a0register.
\nPick up and drop off at Bert Ambrose Elementary School BASC Portable.
\nCost: $250\/week – eligible for\u00a0ACCB.<\/p>\n

Program Description: This program is new to us this year, and is entirely outdoors and child led This is a multiage program that will take place 100% outdoors – please come prepared for any weather that we may encounter! This Outdoor Adventure allows for exploration, discovery and a safe space to reconnect with nature. This program has a drop off time between 8 am and 9 am, and pick up between 4 – 4:30 pm. Students are required to carry all their gear in a backpack, and must be prepared to do a lot of adventuring as we explore areas close to us – Kin Park, Fish Creek, and other neighbourhood playgrounds. Activities and plans change based on what the students are interested in, and how the group feels about the day. This is open ended, play based and child lead programming for the\u00a0summer.<\/p>\n\n
How to\u00a0Register:\u00a0Registration\u00a0forms are attached. You will need to fill out the\u00a0registration\u00a0form and return it with a non-refundable $250 deposit for\u00a0summer\u00a0– this will be applied to your last week of program. Invoices will go out after the 20th of June & July for your spaces, with applicable discounts applied. Payment and forms need to come together, or your child(ren)’s space is not saved.
